CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people to help us grow! We are looking for an Electro Mechanical Technician!

Function:
Ensures reliable operation of electromechanical systems through out the facility including production and plant support equipment.

Responsibilities:
-Day to day troubleshooting, repair & installation of low & high voltage (single/three phase) industrial electromechanical & control systems for utility & production equipment.
-Identify & upgrade outdated or unsafe electromechanical installations in the plant.
-Responsible for documenting existing & new equipment, control & power system installation.
-Member of plant emergency response team
-Standardize all electromechanical controls & power systems to Allen Bradley components as practical.

Accountabilities:
-All electromechanical control & power systems are reliably operating when needed.

Qualification Standards:
-Experienced use of electrical diagnostic equipment such as multi meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
-Be able to read, interpret, & modify electrical prints and schematics & document all self created changes.
-Complete understanding & hands on experience with explosion proof & intrinsically safe work environments. Knowledge of applicable NEC & NFPA codes.
-More than five years of experience using sensing & control devices. Knowledge of DC & AC motors & drives (AB preferred), Mircologix, Compact logix & other Allen Bradley processors.
-3-5 years experience in writing, trouble shooting PLC logic including HMI programming.
-Functional knowledge of emergency response procedures.df-tc
