We have an immediate need for an Electronics Assembler

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking 3-4 assembly operators. These are contract to hire positions that will train in Holland, MI for 2 months and then work in Carol Stream, IL.

Job entails Assembly, Test, Inspection, and Packaging of high quality luxury electronic appliance controls. Operator must be able to function in a faced paced team environment and produce high quality product for delivery to OEM appliance manufacturer.


Job requirements/responsibilities:


1) Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions and workmanship standards.

2) Must be able to perform multiple assembly, test, inspection and packing operations according to written procedures.

3) Must be a detail oriented individual and demonstrate the ability to detect very small aesthetic flaws in control assemblies.

4) Responsible for processing acceptable parts and screening out defects according to documentation. Use considerable judgment and established quality standards to determine acceptability of non-standard parts or assemblies.

5) Must demonstrate pride in workmanship and be able to produce a high quality product as defined by work instructions and workmanship standards.

6) Must be flexible in work assignments and able to work overtime as required.

7) Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment with minimal supervision.

8) Good communication skills are required. Must be able to interact with Customers, Engineers, Technicians and other departments to contribute to process improvements.

9) Must be able to inspect materials and products, for conformance to specifications, using fixed or preset measuring instruments.

10) Document inspection activities and provide required input to manager and other personnel. Maintain accurate records and data of the findings.

11) High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Prior experience with Electronics Assembly helpful.
