We have an immediate need for an Embedded Firmware Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skills:
- Strong communication and people skills - not afraid of leading and driving solutions.
- Analytic ability in order to research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Software Engineering principles.
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems principles.
- Demonstrable programming skills in C and/or C++.
- Experience with programming in the Windows and/or Linux Operating environment.
- Ability to effectively interface with representatives of the R&D community, Marketing, Quality and our customers.
- Knowledge of at least one code management toolset.
- Knowledge of build system and processes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired/Advanced Skills:
- Hardware/software interactions
- Real-time Embedded constraints
- RTOS and threads
- Interrupts

Education:
Bachelors (undergraduate), Masters (graduate) degree in a technical discipline (eg computer science or computer engineering).
