Our customer in Brookfield, WI is currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer. Responsibilities: 1. Design and test the firmware for embedded applications. 2. Drive and communicate the software concept and architecture through Engineering development and cross functional product completion. 3. Interface with other functional departments within the organization to establish their requirements for product designs and ensure needs are met. 4. Complete the design related documentation including engineering change notices, product test plans, and component specifications for product designs. Requirements: 1. BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or higher, 3 to 5 years experience developing products and writing software. 2. Must be able to translate customer needs into product design specifications. 3. Experience with embedded systems designs and firmware. Experience with Windows CE and Xscale processors a plus. 4. Strong understanding of good software development practices.
