If you are an Embedded Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience with C/C++ and Labview and have an understanding of Analog, Digital and Power circuits, please read on!

Growing, industry leader located in Melville, NY will relocate the right candidate for this role!

What you need:
C/C++ and Labview/Matlab
Must be familiar with Analog, Digital and Power circuits (DSPs, CPLDs, FPGAs, OP Amps, current Sensors, A/D, D/A)
Significant work experience in Windows environments
Hands-on experience with circuit design and board layout software (OrCAD)
Experience with Microcontroller peripherals and systems (PWM outputs, boot loaders, A/D converters, watchdog timers, interrupt and trap functions, serial and parallel interfaces)
Experience with development and debugging tools (source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters)
Ability to read a schematic and participate in design specifications creation, and design reviews
Experience with various position sensors and sensor-less control
Familiarity with techniques such as digital filters and FFT
Strong knowledge of control theory and algorithm design
BS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field
Must be open to permanent relocation to Melville, NY

What you'll be doing:
Analyze, design, develop, debug and maintain software for scientific instrumentation, from hardware interfaces and Embedded systems to end-user software
Work with electrical engineers to develop mixed-signal Embedded system architectures for various sensors
Develop firmware for low-level hardware interfaces (eg digital/analog I/O), data analysis and storage, and communications protocols (USB, TCP/IP, RS232)
Develop Windows GUIs for interfacing with the Embedded systems
