Description
This engineer Position Features:
Generate engineering design and documentation; provide support to manufacturing, production control, sales and R&D personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is product design and support of manufacturing. Will be responsible for establishing and continuously improving specifications, designs, processes and standards and the ability to perform under general supervision.

Use independent judgment and discretion for the following, and other special assignments and tasks as assigned:

Utilize creativity to invent and develop new products and to improve existing products
Provide technical and design generation in support of engineering and manufacturing
Responsible and competent to manage multiple projects simultaneously, seeing them through to completion
Responsible for liaison with customers and suppliers, specifying, implementing and trouble shooting issues with the relevant parties
Maintain professional development industry knowledge and technical developments within our product field
Develop and improve written policies and procedures for the effective operation of our manufacturing and engineering processes
Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed
Actively involved in processing of sales orders and manufacturing work instructions
Ensure good inter/intra departmental communications
