Description
Our client is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for:
  • Working with IT partners and business teams to identify technology solutions to achieve business results
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of technology within both the development and production environments
  • Perform engineering and design functions for client devices; oversee the introduction of new client device technology by utilizing industry standard processes
  • Provide client device technical expertise in the development of information technology solutions to support business strategies
  • Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with business and IT partners
  • Maintain awareness of trends and issues in the area of client device technology; evaluate new technology opportunities and provide analysis of their potential impact to business

Requirements Include:
  • Minimum of five years of experience with client engineering in a complex organization including development, implementation and support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • Project Lead and/or Project Management experience
  • SMS/SCCM configuration and administration experience is required
Technical expertise in an array of technologies and their use, such as:
  • Current and pending Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Office, Outlook and SharePoint
  • SMS and Microsoft Core Infrastructure technologies
  • Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP)
  • Application Virtualization (SoftGrid and/or Thinstall)
  • Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) and Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
  • Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and OU Management
