Join our innovative team for the following position:

Our client located in the Philadelphia area has an immediate job opportunity for an Enterprise Application Development Team Lead. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field as well as a minimum of 6 years experience in the IT industry developing or maintaining business applications and solutions.

Required Experience:
. Four or more years of experience leading a team of developers and other individuals
. Two or more years working with Web technologies
. Two or more years of experience in Microsoft scripting technologies like VBScript
. Experience following a structured Software Development Lifecycle
. Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
. Good understanding of relational database concepts and structured query language.
. Good understanding of HTML and Web-based technologies
. Good understanding of developing in technologies like VBScript
. Experience managing a team of individuals.

Preferred Experience:
. Object Oriented programming (C#.Net and/or Java) experience
. COM experience
. Developing in Exchange and MS Office experience


Responsibilities:
. Working with Business Analysts and business users to understand potential bottlenecks or pain points in business processes and propose solutions
. Develop and maintain applications built on various technologies (Microsoft or Java), troubleshooting existing applications to resolve production issues
. Create and execute unit tests for code before rolling out to quality control
. Document the architecture and design of applications using the Software Development Lifecycle guidelines
. Establish standards and core components to ensure code reuse
. Mentor team members in development technologies and approaches
. Perform review of code developed by junior team members
. As a part of a project team, share technical and product knowledge with other team members
. Participate in technology/tools evaluation and software technical proof of concepts

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using various technologies that support multiple lines of business and I.T. initiatives. This individual also will lead a small group of developers in similar efforts.
