Recognized across the organization for IT architecture expertise and operational efficiencies. He/She is sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex IT architecture problems. Coordinates with business and users to determine requirements. Undertakes the most complex IT architecture projects involving multiple disciplines and business units. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for the team. Acts as a resource for direction, training and guidance for the functional departmental managers who will report into this position. Monitors schedules and costs. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Recommends changes in procedures. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Reviews progress with management. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments. Works under general supervision.
