We have an immediate need for an Enterprise Messaging Migration Consultant

Job Description:

Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Description:
Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. May act as project/team lead.

Technical Lead for the project to migrate all systems off of Legacy SMTP channel to other existing SMTP channels. The individual selected will provide technical advice to both the project team and application owners on aspects of the standards for SMTP and on appropriate directions for migration for specific applications.

Provide additional resources for ongoing upgrade/enhancement efforts to the Corporate Anti-spam/Anti-Virus infrastructure. The individual selected will assist in analysis of the existing infrastructure, engineering of solutions, documentation of build and operating procedures, and will assist in providing turnover to the EM&C support team.

Expert-level knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows e-mail server and client applications and e-mail protocols at the RFC level

3+ years experience managing highly complex technical projects
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
5+ years experience working in enterprise messaging environments
5+ years experience working in a large corporate environment (150K+ users)
Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work with Virtual teams and personnel of varying technical skill levels
Experience with enterprise-level anti-spam applications
Experience with both HP and Dell hardware
