Enterprise Solution Specialist/SAP

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of SAP?s new Supply Chain Management X-Apps. business bolt-ons. Willingness to learn new emerging technology such as SRM, SCM, APO, SNC, PM and Service Management. Additionally, must have knowledge and/or experience in Supply Chain Management.


SPECIFIC SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILTIEIS:
Five plus years experience with SAP PP configuration.
Strong understanding of business processes, practices and procedures.
Experience with Advanced Planning tools SCM including PPDS, SNP, DP, CTM and GATPS is preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
?Working knowledge of project management practices and methodology s
?Ability to perform hands on configuration in Supply Chain Management including integration points to Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management , Logistics and Finance.
?Ability to write highly detailed functional specifications for outputs and new custom functionality in the SCM area.
?Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
?Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
?Write functional specifications for application development, enhancements and testing.
?Serve as escalation point for troubleshooting issues per OLA and SLA.
?Maintain a thorough knowledge and in-depth field experience in one application module regarding emerging or job technologies required, this could include formal or self paced professional development.
?Perform hands on complex configuration in module.
?Provide functional advice and assistance to programmers.
?Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
?Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
?Ask questions; encourage input from team members.
?Provide regular updates to appropriate managers.
?Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (ie modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
?Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
?Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
?Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are ?best in field?.
?Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
?Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations.
?Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.
?Exchange knowledge and information with other facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization.
