Project Description:
The Investigative Data Analytics ( IDA ) project will provide the tool for CI investigators to triage massive amount of heterogeneous data pertinent to income tax fraud, money laundering and terrorist activities. Currently, the data triage is achieved by laboriously searching many separate databases including commercial information sources such as Lexis/Nexis and Choicepoint. IDA will significantly improve this by providing a single point of access to all publicly available information needed by CI to pursue its investigations.
