Excell Data is looking for Game Testers!

Excell Data is getting ready to hire for our busiest Game Testing season ever! We will have openings very soon and want to talk to gamers who are interested in testing for Excell Data. We are a preferred vendor of our client (the largest software company on the Eastside), as well as the preferred vendor for contractors to work for. Come and find out why!

What we are looking for:
  • We need professional individuals who are passionate about games and available for contract opportunities that will start later this month, next month and well into the new year.
  • We need gamers with and without game test experience.
  • Testers will be responsible for running quality assurance test passes, logging issues (bugs) into a bug database, bug regression
  • This is a professional job and should be regarded as such.
  • New BS in CS grads encouraged to apply!

Required Skills:
  • Passion for games
  • Strong interest in game testing and game industry
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctuality
  • Independent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS platforms and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
  • Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks
  • Flexibility to work overtime on short notice
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a minimum of a HS diploma or GED
  • Must live within commuting distance of the Kirkland/Redmond, WA area
  • This is an onsite job, working from home is not an option.

Nice to Have/ Bonus:
  • BS in Computer Science Graduates or related degree
  • A background in software testing
  • Coding or scripting experience
  • Experience within the games industry is helpful
