Summary

Your primary function is to maximize the e-mail systems' contribution to Staff effectiveness in support of Our Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

You report to the department manager.  Normally, no one reports to this position unless assigned for specific work.  This position is based in Rogers, Arkansas.
 
Job Duties

You are an important part of our server team in our Systems Support department.  Your duties will be to support all activities associated with our Microsoft Exchange Server.  Some of your daily duties may include:
• Interacting with users to solve message problems.
• Assist users with mailbox sharing.
• Setting up new user ids.
• Monitoring server health.
• Administering our Archive Manager.
• Managing spam abatement.
• Planning and implementing e-mail policies.

To perform your duties, you will be constantly interacting with the rest of the team and internal customers.  You will need to be aware of what others in Systems Support are doing that impacts your responsibilities and you must make others aware of your activities before it would impact them.  You will get occasional off-hours calls.  You will be balancing the requirements to courteously serve each Benchmark Group Staff member and to ensure computer policies are followed to protect all BG Staff.  You will need excellent people skills for this.

Job Qualifications

Must have all of the following:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of full time work experience administering an Exchange server up to version 2007.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Word.
• Proficiency in Outlook.
• Familiar with multiple Exchange Servers supporting hundreds of users.
• Must be employed with current employer for a minimum of 12 months.  If presently unemployed, must have been employed with previous employer for a minimum of 12 months.

Work environment is mostly in an office.  Work days of 10 to 14 hours in length, or more, may occur.  Ability to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, and communicate effectively in person or over the telephone.
 
Must be able to visualize complex project scheduling, control charts, graphs, and be able to visualize the final product of your work.  Frequent lifting or moving of 30 pounds is required.  Occasional lifting or moving of 70 pounds or more may be required.
