InterFusion Technology is seeking an Executive Desktop Support Engineer with the following skills:

Must Have Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Ten years of general experience in IS / IT.

Professional will interface with senior staff and must possess excellent communication skills.

Must have areas of knowledge around components such as patch management, virus protection, data encryption, VPN access and blackberry support.

Secure operating system implementation.

Knowledge of Active Directory and GPOs.

Ability to provide scripted solutions.

Ability to provide ZenWorks administrative support

In depth knowledge of desktop products from Dell

Understanding of total cost of ownership of enterprise desktop environment in order to ensure the best solution at the best possible cost to the company.

Evaluating and deployment of new products and service in conjunction with IT Quality Team tests.

Experience with process methodology such as ITIL

Experience with network and system security needs and techniques; exposure to Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements helpful.

Personality Preferences:

Individual must be mature and responsible to work independently. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years directly supporting senior managers and their staff.



Deliverables / Job Duties:

Executive Desktop Support Engineer to provide primary support to selected Executives and their administrative staff. The Executive Desktop Support Engineer will be located on the Corporate Executive floor during the normal business hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, CST Monday – Friday, and extending to on-call after hours support. The Executive Desktop Support Engineer will also provide home support to selected Senior Executive Staff. Additionally, the Executive Desktop Support Engineer is responsible to provide quarterly updates to the desktop standards including, recommendations, testing, documentation, and image update to the SUS server. The Executive Desktop Support Engineer will provide ad hoc reports and analysis to management. Executive Desktop Support Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Provide onsite desktop support to VIP Senior Executive Staff and their executive administrative assistants from the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST.

Provide after hours on-call support to Senior Executive Staff.

Trouble tickets for VIP staff will normally be categorized as Priority 2 with the associated Response and Resolutions times.

Provide home, other off site, support for senior executives (limited to seven critical senior executives based in Houston and San Jose.

Review, advise and design standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs on the enterprise business process and goals.

Provide reports and analysis as specified or on an ad hoc basis.

Act as a contributing member of the desktop team, responding to Remedy requests.

Provide weekly status reports on engineering projects and other activities as requested by PMO.
