Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Removes, repairs and replaces or installs a broad range of plant operating equipment and associated systems in support of plant construction and maintenance activities. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Three to five years experience.

Work with steel and other materials in addition to wood and must often combine the skills of several skilled trades in order to successfully fabricate industrial machinery or to assemble machines from pre-fabricated parts.

Must be able to read blueprints and other schematics to aid him in the construction of complex systems.

Working knowledge of driveshafts, gearing and mechanical belts.

Responsible to repair and maintain:
pumps, exhaust fans, alignments, replace bearings.
