The candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction for the facility cogeneration plant (gas turbines), emergency diesel generators, and site medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems. The goal of this engineering position is to provide uninterruptible electrical power to all site critical loads.

The candidate will be technically responsible to maintain and enhance the reliable operation of the site gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators and continuous emissions monitoring systems. This will include assisting/directing annual and semi-annual outages. Strong focus on maintaining/improving efficient operation of the Central Energy Plant will be required.

This position will require experience with emergency diesel generators, load management systems, industrial/commercial power distribution design and installation including medium voltage switchgear, protective relays, power substations and motor control centers. The candidate shall also be familiar with NFPA and OSHA regulations.

The candidate will support the development of both routine and emergency operating procedures. He/she will facilitate/assist in the training of critical operational personnel.


Qualifications
1) BSEE required, concentration in power desired. 5 -10 years design and operation experience in industrial power generation and distribution systems required.
2) Knowledgeable in PLC and SCADA based control systems.
3) Experience with industrial high pressure boilers and associated equipment desired
4) Strong project management and project technical support skills required.
5) Application software experience desired - routine office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point. Experience with CAD, Intellution, EasyPower desired.
6) Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
7) Experience in cGMP environment desired.
