Adecco Technical is seeking a Support specialist for one of our clients in the Atlanta/Perimeter area. This person's daily duties and responsibilities will be as follows: Provide help desk, trouble shooting, problem solving computer support to local and remote users in various Micosoft OS environments Configure NT 4.0/2000 servers and Win 95/2000 workstations Perform restores from backups when necessary Provide technical support and upgrades for assigned nursing home LANs including email, AHT, Winstar, and other industry related software Trouble shooting local and remote network hardware, including printers, tape backups and network connections MUST have: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and how to use this information to traverse our network. Proficient with MS operating systems Excellent telephone/customer service skills Ability to communicate with various skill-level end users Must be willing to learn and change priorities frequently and rapidly Able to learn and adapt new skills as work requirements demand Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Travel: Minimal; need credit card to pay for reimbursable expenses Hours: Semi-flexible days, M-F Minimum 2 year employment Technical experience or computer related BS degree MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY MANDATORY OVERTIME/45 HOURS PER WEEK
