BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.

Individuals will be responsible for working with a large government client as a part of a BearingPoint team member working primarily out of a downtown DC client site location, with limited travel. Individual will work with BearingPoint and client team members to develop and implement solutions to client challenges.

The candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for maintaining, designing, developing, and deploying MS Access, MS Excel, and VBA based applications. The candidate will also provide technical support and one-on-one training to federal client staff members.

Duties include:
§Support of current E-Gov initiatives – Assist with these e-gov initiatives to help federal client incorporate/implement these initiatives into their current processes. This includes participating in meetings, reviewing proposed documentation, implementation schedule and structure, and requirement gathering.

§Maintenance and client facing technical support of the following: oTraining database oRe-certification database oScorecard Database and Excel Application oClient Database, Excel Application, and website. oPerformance Indicator Database and Excel Application

§Design, develop, and deploy MS Access Database, MS Excel Applications, and website(s) to meet the client’s needs.
§Assist the client with the generation of financial reports
§Support ad hoc projects/tasks as requested

Successful candidate will have the following Skill Set: §MS Excel – Advanced §MS Access – Advanced §Visual Basic for Applications - Advanced §Business Process Modeling and Business Process Improvement Methodology experience §Complete end-to-end development cycle of the applications including: oRequirements Gathering oDesign oBuild oTest oImplement oImplementation Support

§Proficiency with the following applications - Word Perfect, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook
§Financial skill set /aptitude; Federal Financial experience preferred – budgeting, financial analysis, accounting
§Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
§Excellent organization, and planning/project scheduling skills
§Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
§Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
§Flexible team player; must have great interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels of personnel
§US Citizenship Required
§Bachelors Degree Required
