Robert Half Technology is searching for a Field Network Engineer to work with one of its fastest growing consulting partners in Denver. This organizations designs, sells, implements, and supports infrastructure solutions for small and medium sized businesses. As a Network Engineer you will provide client business with remote support, on-site support, and regularly scheduled maintenance along with project planning and implementation services. You will have the opportunity to work on more networks, and learn more through hands on experience in this position then you would with anyone else in the business. This is a full time field position where you will have direct contact with top tier clients and their network infrastructure. It is imperative that you have a professional demeanor, a desire to do incredibly good work, care about being thorough and professional, reliable transportation, and you MUST be able to work dynamically and deal with unpredictability in your routine. Because of the nature of the industry and the commitment to clients, evenings and weekends are occasionally required. Experience/Skills
What we're looking for: * 5+ years supporting diverse IT environments * MCSE certification or demonstrated progress toward certification * Full-time field consulting experience What you should know: * Firewall configuration experience with SonicWall, Watchguard, Cisco PIX, and/or NetScreen * Expert administration and troubleshooting skills for all Windows Server products, including NT 4.0, 200X, Exchange 5.5/200X * MS Terminal Services and/or Citrix configuration/support * System architecture design (LAN and WAN) experience Other helpful criteria: * Cisco router configuration experience for T1 and Frame Relay * IT project management experience * Experience supporting MS SQL, SharePoint, and CRM * An undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
