Our client is a leading wholesale value-added distributor of product solutions and pre and post-sale service packages focused on wide area communications with a specialty in thin-client/server-based computing. They are currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Field Systems Engineer

Job Description:
The candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting customers in a variety of dynamic situations. The ideal candidate will be able to think on his/her feet and will not be easily overwhelmed in a fast paced and highly fluid environment. This candidate must also be able to handle a wide variety of duties including providing on site technical support, telephone based support, and internal systems support. This position will require up to 70% travel.

Job Duties:
? Provide technical direction, diagnostic expertise, assistance, and training to field service personnel to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
? Develop and implement engineering specifications and solutions for large, complex installations, primarily through visits to customer sites.
? Follow through with customers to ensure proper function of complex systems.
? Provide solutions to technical problems and troubleshoot assistance in the field as necessary.
? Keep abreast of the companyâ??s latest products and services.
? Must have a strong background and hands on experience with Citrix.
? Strong networking background and proficient with all Microsoft applications.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer focus.
? Ability to work well under pressure.
? Ability to manage multiple projects.

Typical Projects:
? Active directory migrations of organizations from 500 to 100,00 users
? Exchange migrations from 5.5 to 2003
? Citrix Metaframe upgrades or rollouts
? Infrastructure assessments
? Router or firewall configurations
? Systems troubleshooting for performance and functionalitydf-tc

Experience/Skills
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years proven field experience
Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) â?? This certification is a must!
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Windows 2000 (MCSE 2K) (MCSE 2K3 preferred)

Recommended but not required:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
