Financial Analyst LeadLocation: Plano, TXJob Description:Ensure that the traffic traversing the network is captured and billed to the appropriate entity. The position will require technical analysis of traffic patterns and volumes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Provide usage testing, analysis and to prevent billing errors caused by erred table inputs* Define, design and implement various reports from requirements* Provide and run billing tasks to rerate erred usage* Establish testing criteria and implement them during rating updates across multiple billingplatforms.* Write ad-hoc queries using SQL , Brio, or other similar software* Analyze rating and traffic trends to billing systems and isolate trouble areas* Perform revenue assurance analysis* Communicate and gather technical requirements thru systems analysis and investigations.Minimum Requirements:* 3-5 years of experience in traffic reporting and analysis preferred.* College Degree or equivalent preferred* Intermediate to Advanced experience in usage testing and analysis* Intermediate to Advanced experience in report generation using Business Intelligence Software (i.e. Brio, MySQL, TOAD)* Proficient in reading and creating SQL statements, experience with querying data from Oracle, SQLserver, MySQL and other relational database management system software.Minimum Qualifications:* Proficient in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Word and Excel .* Experience using reporting software (Brio experience preferred)* Familiarity with Sonus, DMS and Lucent 5Ess networks preferred.* Experience with end-user, CABS, including carrier access and reciprocal compensation, billing rules preferred.* Must possess ability to prioritize and manage projects independently* Must have excellent verbal and writing communication skills* Must be able to meet deadlines and work independently to delivery schedulesdf-tc
