We have an immediate need for a Financial Applications Development Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent and or eight to twelve years of full life-cycle development experience building complex OLTP solutions with Oracle technologies.

Five or more years technical development leadership on large custom OLTP projects utilizing Oracle technologies.

Five or more years experience defining and implementing configuration management, impact analysis, and change control in an environment of rapid change.

Accomplished practitioner of logical and physical data modeling.

Seven or more years hands-on experience with application development using Oracle Designer, Oracle Developer or Other tools of the Internet Development Suite.

Five or more years experience developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, triggered from UI events or database triggers, to implement complex business logic and optimize system performance.

Experience with Project Management tools (Microsoft Project).

Code Control and Management tools like SVN for Version Control and JIRA for bug tracking.

Ability to interface well with business professionals and technical staff at all level.

Minimum of four to five years of Oracle Apps implementation and configuration experience, including Oracle EBS Release 12.

Extensive experience in Account Receivable API knowledge, Auto Invoice, Customer Interface. Strong in TCA APIs.

Three or more years experience customization of Oracle Financials business logic following Oracle best practices and guidelines.

Knowledge on receivables tables.

Extensive foundation knowledge including foundation libraries.

Extensive experience in the management and writing of concurrent programs (SQL, PLSQL, Host Programs, SQL Loader etc).

Knowledge on how Flexfield (Key, Descriptive), Value Sets work and their customization.

Oracle Application Framework.

Oracle Workflow.

Extensive experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash Management etc.
Excellent analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and ability to travel.
Preferred qualifications includes a Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.

Knowledge of government sponsored health care programs and systems.

Five or more years experience with complex data conversion efforts.

Three or more years hands-on experience with Java development conforming to the J2EE standard and experience in writing systems project proposals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides leadership, hands-on mentoring, and oversight across all phases of full life-cycle design and technical architecture of custom web-enabled Oracle-based systems in Health Services specifically in the area of financial systems.

2. Manages all phases of full life-cycle system development including requirements analysis, software design, deployment, testing, configuration, and development including requirements analysis, software design, deployment, testing, configuration, and enhancement/maintenance.

3. Ensures that design standards and conventions are adhered to and continually improved.

4. Works closely with all stakeholders, technical engineers, and process engineers to provide guidance and ensure adequate design for meeting business objectives and strategy.

5. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
