Description
Reports to: Director, Operations Finance Direct Reports: Yes
  • Support the Supply Chain Operations Group through financial cost analysis, operations expansion / optimization modeling, activity tracking and forecast / budget preparation.
  • Financial support for the Sales and Operations Planning process including financial impact analysis and risks / opportunities tracking.
  • Track and report the performance of key initiatives and project savings, including the impact on Operations and Transportation costs.
  • Key team member and strategic partner in the roll-out of new operational and business opportunities.
  • Instrumental in assessing and initiating cost saving opportunities.
  • Support internal customers and executive team through financial analysis, project tracking and maintaining the business P&L.
  • Capital expenditure request preparation and analysis for Plant Operations, Distributor Sales, and IBC business.
  • Financial analysis and expansion impact modeling
  • Report development and presentation (plans and actuals)
  • Activity trend reporting and analysis
  • Productivity and initiatives tracking
  • Preparation, analysis and communication of forecast and budget
  • Process and control testing / improvement reviews
  • Tracking planned financial impact analysis through to actual cost results
  • Preparation of the P&Ls by business, with supporting analysis
  • Working with and supporting members of the Distributor Sales , Plant Operations, and Business teams on meeting strategic objectives and setting short / long term strategy

    Experience/Skills
  • Bachelors degree in related field and 5 -8 years of experience in finance / accounting / analysis as well as 1-3 years of management experience in a finance position
  • CPA or MBA is a plus.
  • Exposure to or six sigma green belt is also a plus
  • Process / improvement focused
