We have an immediate need for a Java Web Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The focus of this position is on Front End Web development activities for the CEO Workstation application including analysis, design and coding to requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of complex AJAX functionality & frameworks along with comprehensive CSS and HTML skills in a JSP environment. Short-term you will be expected to get up to speed with the environment and become familiar with the existing application. Long-term results for which you will be responsible are to contribute directly to the success of the project as you grow in knowledge of the platform and come to know the needs of our customers. This position is developing and implementing complex Internet functions on our platform. We are looking for an experienced developer with passion for technology and deep background with relevant skills. In this position you will: . Evaluate system specifications and requirements, lead design presentations, influence direction and implement the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.

AJAX
Browser compatibility tuning, Cross browser compatibility development
CSS - Cascading Style Sheets
Custom tag development
Dojo, prototype or similar.
Financial industry
Highly complex, high volume Web based applications with stringent SLAs on availability and performance.
HTML
Iterative, Agile development
JavaScript

MVC JavaScript patterns and common Front End frameworks and development tools Rich Internet Application Architecture.
Script,aculo.us and active widgets
Struts/Spring
