Experience/Skills
CSS/JavaScript/JSON mastery is important. The client uses a template engine for rendering our pages and have separated the content, its view and control functions. This means heavy CSS and JavaScript for Ajax/JSON remoting.Technical Requirements • Mastery of static (HTML, CSS) and dynamic web page coding (JS, Ajax) • 2 - 3 years professional web development experience. • Experience with web user interfaces across different browsers (Mozilla, IE, Safari, Opera) General Requirements • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Great work ethic. Must thrive in a fast-paced, creative, dynamic environment. • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. Bonus Points • Python (Django) or Ruby (Rails) • Flash Action Scripting, XML, AJAX, RSS/Atom, DHTML, Perl, PHP, JavaScript • Developing for user-generated content. • Experience with live site deployment and maintenance. • Developing in highly trafficked, large-scale environment. • Good understanding of OOP, web application design, data handling, and web usability.
