Duration: 6+ months

Our client is in need of an SAP Business Analyst with extensive experience in MRO, Warehouse and Inventory related processes for 6 month + assignment. Included below is the description of this assignment and what will be expected by the client:

. Actively engages the business to understand opportunities, builds strong partnerships in support of business and IT strategic plan and roadmap development, and ensures alignment of initiatives with organization objectives.
. Provides local technical support and serves as a subject matter expert for the SAP APO-PPDS module. Technical knowledge of APO-PPDS is highly desired.
. Deep understanding on how SAP supports local business processes. Technical knowledge of SAP (SCE), (MM), and (BI) modules is desired.
. Must be familiar with and demonstrate experience in working with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle model.
. Experienced in working with application development analysts, in order to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into IT technical solution specifications.
. Able to develop rigorous business user acceptance testing scenarios and test scripts, ensuring traceability to approved business requirements, and facilitates User Acceptance Testing.
. Coordinates with power users and with second and third level technical support to provide problem resolution and implementation of configuration changes and enhancements to SAP.
. Be willing to be held accountable for results, and able to hold other accountable as appropriate.
. Fosters a high-energy team environment that challenges team members to seek creative solutions to opportunities.
. Serves as a liaison between the business and IT, providing consulting and advisory support on technology issues.
. Accurately anticipates the responses and reasoning of decision makers.
. Establishes credibility through consistent delivery of quality IT services, and is sought out as a Subject Matter Expert by the business and peers in one or more functions.
. Possesses a good understanding of IT project management principles, tools and methodologies.
. Able to establish WBS-based project plans, identify milestones, resource requirements, critical path dependencies and deliverables using Microsoft Project.
. Experienced in providing direction and leading cross-functional work teams without a direct reporting relationship.
. Manages and delivers projects on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
. Conducts project or major work activity look-backs, and incorporate lessons learned.

Experience/Skills
Additional Considerations/Information or Special Skills/Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree required in MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Must have MRO maintenance reliability, warehouse, and inventory related process experience; IBM Maximo application and/or SAP maintenance. AutoCAD, and business process mapping, evaluation and redesign skills would be a strong plus as well.
. 8+ years experience in IT business analysis or solutions consulting experience in an SAP environment is required.
. 5+ years experience with SAP is required.
. Capable of working in a global, multi-cultural environment.
. Multi-lingual skills are preferred.
. Domestic and international travel may be required for the position.
. Would like see demonstrated experience as an IT Business Analyst in an SAP environment, experience in BI/BW, and IT Project Management are all required skills.
