On behalf of a Casino-Hotel Resort in Jackson, CA, Casino Careers Online is seeking a Gaming Systems Admin I.

Responsibilities include:

Essential Job Duties: Assist with database administration of gaming applications and software. Ensures minimum internal controls from IT are being met for system, software and application changes. Assist with on-going support of gaming database applications, software and database environment. This includes the use and understanding of proper industry standards for the following database elements: DB administration and maintenance, design and configuration, SQL code control, upgrades, DB integrity and security, monitoring, backups, documentation, policy and procedure, change management and user and DBA required education and training. Properly use gaming database production and test environments for successful deployment and operations for database application and software. Assist with managing proper and secure gaming database access for technical staff, end-users, IT vendors and other system users. Provides updated documentation for these levels of access. Assist with software management, version control and documentation, development and monitoring gaming database metrics and performance factors and assist with disaster recovery planning and testing. Coordinates and develops updated documentation that includes data dictionary, data and logic flow diagrams, configuration settings and required operational procedures to support database environment. Assist with product and service research, review and selection for gaming database environment.


Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma required. A.S. or equivalent in Computer Science required.
B.S in Computer Science a plus.
Gaming and customer service background a plus.
