We have an immediate need for a Genesys Sales Support Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Client: Major National Bank
Location Choices: Denver, San Francisco, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Charlotte
Term: 6-18mo

Work closely with business partners to document very detailed technical requirements based on business needs, and create corresponding technical design documents.
Perform and coordinate sizings for new work requests
Create, update and/or coordinate project documentation such as FSD, design and architecture diagrams, change requests, product evaluations
Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations to business partners
Coordinate multiple small to medium sized technical activities, focusing on achieving all deliverables on time and within budget
Coordinate with other technology teams to ensure a smooth implementation
Develop/design/update/support Genesys strategies and infrastructure for a multi-tenant Genesys environment
Develop technology road-map based on business partner and enterprise initiatives

REQUIRED:
Contact Center background
Experience with either Genesys CTI and/or VXML-based IVR (Voice Genie strongly preferred)
Very strong documentation skills and focus

Specific requirements include:
Experience in a Genesys CTI environment including STRONG network and premise based routing logic design and debug skills
Experience with designing VoIP and SIP technology solutions for deployment within the contact center. Preference for candidates with Cisco IP Telephony and/or Genesys SIP Server experience
Strong background in utilizing carrier based routing such as MCI Gateway Services or AT&T ICP services, as well as the ability to manipulate network plans to integrate into a CTI environment.
Understanding of basic networking concepts such as WAN infrastructure and protocols such as TCP, UDP, etc.
Experience with premise ACD/PBX integration (MAPD, Symposium, etc) and basic switch routing concepts, including an intermediate to advanced understanding of IVR and Telephony interfaces into CTI systems.
Understanding of multi-channel solutions and their application within the contact center (ex: SMS, Chat, Email, etc)
Understanding of the various reporting and adjunct systems (QM, WFM, etc) critical to the contact center operation and how those systems are impacted by multi-channel touch points
Power User experience with Unix systems (AIX or Solaris preferred)
10- Years experience with Telecommunications and Contact Center Technology and Architecture, Call Center and CTI Technologies
Working knowledge of Microsofts desktop application suite, Unix, Windows
Automatic Call Distributor ACD/PBX experience - Nortel, Avaya, and Aspect
CTI Certified Genesys Engineer 7.x or equivalent experience
