Description
Temporary Contract position in the Long Beach area. Applicant is accountable for supporting the ongoing development and reservoir description effort for the Long Beach Unit of the Wilmington Oil field. Essential duties include identification of development drilling opportunities, well site duties for geo-steering activities, pro-active participation in reservoir studies, and annual reserves stimulation teams. Responsible for maintaining and forwarding the geologic understanding of the Wilmington field for the reservoir department. Work closely with reservoir engineers to insure proper and updated reserver description is utilized including the use of stat of the art techniques for reservoir description. Qualification require a Masters of Science degree in Geoscience or equivalent. 8+ yrs. experience in oil and gas. Experience with Landmark products, Stratworks, Zmap & Seisworks.
