Robert Half Technology has partnered with a major corporation for a Director of the Global SAP Program Delivery. This person has a unique opportunity to lead a highly visible project in a newly formed consumer packaged goods company. The Director is accountable for successfully implementing a Global SAP/ERP solution in less than 30 months. The vision for the program is to standardize and simplify business processes using a global template that leverages SAP, Service Partner Accelerators, and associated tools. The Director will partner with the Project Business Lead to manage the overall SAP program and all projects within the program (including scope, budget, project plans, interdependencies, issues, risks and resources), chair the governance organization for SAP and represent the SAP program on a broader Transition Governance team. The Director and Business lead will have joint responsibility for managing program communications (including status reporting) with all areas of the organization (including executive level communication). In addition they will manage change efforts that focus on wide spread alignment and acceptance of the required business transformation. The Director will provide thought leadership during blueprinting and implementation for SAP modules, tools, and bolt-ons. The Director will partner with the Director, Application Delivery and the Service Provider to define and staff an SAP Center of Excellence to ensure a smooth transition from Delivery to Operations.Position Requirements: The preferred candidate will have a BS in a business or technical field, with 10 years of progressive experience in managing the implementation of global SAP systems. MBA preferred. This position will be full time. Travel to regional locations during planning and implementation cycles is expected. This travel will require extended stays outside the US.The candidate must have experience successfully implementing SAP for ERP globally with specific experience required in deployments in the US, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. The individual must demonstrate solid understanding of SAP technologies and toolsets. Prefer experience with the following SAP modules; (Production Planning(PP or PP/PI), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Limited Quality Management Inspection (QM), simple Warehouse Management (WM), Global Trade (GTS), Advanced Planning & Optimization (APO), Supplier Collaboration (SNC), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)); Tools (such as Business Intelligence Tools (BI/BW/XI/PI/EP) and Business Objects); and Bolt-ons (Vistex, Vertex/Taxware). The candidate must be experienced in overseeing an SAP deployment in an FDA-validated environment. Experience should span the entire project life-cycle: Global Design and Blueprinting, Application Development via a multi-shore deployment strategy, Integration and Test, Data Conversion (many environments to one), Hardware and Infrastructure, System Validation, and include establishing the Service Delivery Model (Center of Excellence) for ongoing support after go-live. In addition, the candidate must have experience in running a Program Management Office that is responsible for schedule development, project performance metrics, managing scope, monitoring all financials (including software capitalization), and governance relationships with executive management.Please send only qualified resumes to Kris.Huiet@rht.com.df-tc
