This individual will be responsible for coding the user interfaces for Web-based applications, Web sites, and potentially Flash projects. The Interactive Developer II will also develop and maintain a CSS style guide. The developer is expected to work closely with the projects interactive designer and application development team. This candidate will have at least two years combined professional Web development experience with a Fortune 500 company or equivalent consulting firm. Typical tasks will include: write XHTML and JavaScript write CSS based on comps delivered by the design team convert a Photoshop comp to front-end code and design elements potentially write ActionScript
Responsibilities:
Expected skill sets and level of experience: Write XHTML, JavaScript, CSS (Intermediate, 3+ years) Understand cross-browser compatibility issues, specifically from Windows Internet Explorer 6 to current Windows and Mac Web browsers (Intermediate, 2+ years) Ability to convert design mockups/comps to code (2+ years) Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent (Intermediate, 2+ years). Adobe Flash (Intermediate, 2+ years) Bonus skill sets and experience: Coding for accessibility (508 compliance) Coding for mobile environments Experience with AJAX Experience with a content management system Experience with portal frameworks JSP Availability: The resource will need to be locally available during standard business hours but need not be onsite every day.
