Description
Web Developer: Contract position until end of October 2008
To support Communications Department web projects by providing assistance with organization of sites, daily updates to sites, web site creation, documentation and other web support. Position will: develop websites in XHTML and CSS; be responsible for meeting with clients and tracking projects through an established production cycle; maintaining updates in department database and providing documentation; providing customer service and support; applying web development techniques; and other related duties as assigned. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to use Macromedia Dreamweaver and Contribute and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft operating system and servers with an emphasis on using in integrating server-side and dynamic publishing components. They should have an ability to work with web enabled databases in a development and production environment. Knowledge of IIS, ASP, .NET and client server technologies including those involved with static and dynamic on-line publishing. Programming and database knowledge should include the following: CSS, ASP, HTML, PHP, XML, VBScript, Javascript, Relational Database Design, SQL Server 2000, Oracle.
