Description
Digital People, your marketing and creative staffing agency, is looking for someone with a passion for the production side of design for a temp to hire opportunity. Our client is a small, entrepreneurial travel company needing a hands-on Production Artist who has worked and thrived in a small business/entrepreneurial environment. This position is for Full time (5 days a week) and schedule/hours are not flexible. Our client is looking for someone who works very hard and is challenged by a fast paced, self sufficient environment that is un-structured and ever-changing on a day to day basis.

Project management experience is required as this person will be managing and producing all design projects for our client. In addition, experience working with printers is a must.

This position is highly production oriented using basic design with a high number of versions of similar brochures. Quark is the primary program, so recent experience with this is a must. Accuracy and organization are crucial is this position. -5 plus years of recent production experience using Quark.-Extensive experience and proficient in Quark 6, Adobe Photoshop/CS2, Adobe Illustrator/CS2, Adobe Acrobat Professional. All layouts have been designed in Quark.-Must be detail oriented and accurate.-Must be available to work extended hours, as needed, including some evenings and week-ends. The average work week is 45 to 47 hours. -Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects in a timely fashion and meet deadlines.-Need to work independently, be a self-starter and enjoy being challenged every day.If you meet ALL of these requirements, please apply today!df-tc
