Description
Major Insurance Company Located in Warwick, Rhode Island is seeking two Help Desk Technicians for two nine month contract positions. These positions are part time and the ideal candidates will have hours that are in the 8:00AM to 12:00PM range, the days for these position will be Monday thru Friday. The Help Desk Technician responsibilities:Manage resolution of inbound security calls quickly, professionally and efficiently.Diagnose security issues; perform Domain, system and application password resets.Follow all escalation procedures according to service Level agreement.Use remote control tool to assist end user when needed.Research issues when answers are not readily available with the use of the Knowledge tool base.Provide an accurate record of each call in a problem management database.Monitor all open issues to ensure business expectations are met.

Requirements:

The ideal Help Desk Technicians will have the following experience:At least one year of experience, problem solving in a technology support setting.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Experience working in a diverse team setting, and a track record of success. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The drive and ability to see problems through to completion.Evidence that courses have been taken in Operating systems, Networking, Microsoft Office and general PC support with a minimum GPA of 3.0.Technical skills required will include:Proficiency in Microsoft office products, Windows 2000, XP, VPN, Networking, NT Security, Internet & Intranet
