Technical Writer
Location: Cumming, GA

Salary Role + Bonus

Job Description:

Will create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, catalog and Web technical specifications, online help, and other product documentation for PLCs, HMIs, programming software, and other automation devices.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have experience with PLC hardware, programming software, HMIs, and communications devices (Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus).
• Experience with variable frequency drives, servo drives, and/or stepper system products a plus.
• Excellent computer and writing skills;
• B.S. degree or relevant writing and technical experience involving automation products.
• Experience with drawing and graphics programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, desktop publishing programs such as QuarkXPress, and online documentation programs such as Adobe Acrobat and RoboHelp a plus.
• Candidate must be able to work on and manage projects independently, meet deadlines and have excellent interpersonal skills
