WE ARE SEARCHING FOR A HMI SOFTWARE CONTROLS ENGINEER IN ATLANTA – ARE YOU THE ONE?

[LOCATED SOUTH OF ATLANTA IN THE FOREST PARK AREA BETWEEN I-85 & I-675]

This is a Permanent Direct Hire Position & MUST be a U.S. Citizen

What are we looking for ? This position primarily focuses on HMI software development for industrial automation machines and systems.

The Software Controls Engineer will be responsible for:
• Primarily HMI design and development
• PLC software design and development
• PC software design and development
• Installation, startup, testing and debugging at customer's site
• Providing field service and support
• Integration of machine controls
• Development and maintenance of technical documentation

The HMI Software Controls Engineer should have an excellent understanding of the following:
• HMI software including RSView 32/ME/SE, Wonderware, In-Batch, WinCC,Cimplicity, and Panelview
• Visual Basic 6/.Net and VBA experience, with object-oriented programming a plus
• SQL Server, Access, database design and experience a plus
• Understanding of electrical circuits and PLCs is also a plus
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline is preferred.

Experience/Skills
MUST HAVE:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• An understanding of electrical and PLC architecture and experience writing functional specifications. Must have the
ability to create and modify PLC Ladder Logic. Must be proficient in programming specific PLCs such as Siemens, GE,
Allen-Bradley and Modicon.
• HMI experience should include Panel View, Panel View+, WinCC, Simantic, Wonderware, Cimplicity ME, Modicon and
Quick Panel.
• Experience with drives to include VFDs and motion control.
• Possess factory floor troubleshooting experience, computer and networking skills, strong interpersonal and communication
skills and be willing to travel.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in industrial control systems. Experience in automotive, food & beverage, material
handling, and packaging industries is a plus.
• Five [5] years of project management and engineering management experience is desirable.
