HP Openview Administrator

No third party submittals US citizen or permanent resident. Position Description: Conducts analysis, creates system specifications, develops, tests and implements engineering, scientific and business applications, operating systems, and file/database servers. Utilizes existing or new technology in the automation of processes. Evaluates software packages and provides recommendations to management.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or a related field; or the equivalent combination education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
• 3 years experience in HP OpenView (Operations Center) administration. Designs and administers HP OpenView Operations (Operations Manager) SiteScope, Business Process, Monitors and Business Activity Center for complex systems on UNIX and Windows based platform.
• Expert knowledge of UNIX, Shell, Perl Scripting, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at a complex level
• Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with peers and upper management.
• Demonstrated experience with applying complex principles into business applications.
• Project Management skills, including the ability to develop and monitor work agreements
