Description
Position Summary:
Human Resources position involving support to the Director of Human Resources. This position is all-encompassing with an emphasis on recruiting and employment for all areas on the salaried side of the Corporate office or business units' Human Resources department.

Major Areas of Accountability:
1. Recruit, interview, and hire for open salaried positions.
2. Participate in campus recruiting events including interviewing, career fairs, and information sessions.
3. Coordinate advertising/posting/scheduling process.
4. Work with marketing to help market the Company at universities to attract larger population of students.
5. Find ways to recruit a more diverse population of candidates.
6. Coordinate with outside contracting agencies for temporary assignments.
7. Assist with applicant process and maintain accurate data in applicant tracking system.
8. Continually improve recruiting process for candidates and hiring managers.
9. Maintain files, forms, and database information associated with personnel and general information and recruiting.
10. Develop strong relationships with business functions and support Human Resources efforts consistent with business objectives.
11. Participation in facilitating performance management process.
12. Participation in effort to evaluate and apply Lean principles in areas of responsibility.
13. Coordinate employee relations activities at all levels including salaried & hourly workforce.
14. Assist HR Director with Succession Planning process.
15. Conduct employee focus group meetings.
16. Facilitate training and development efforts as needed.
17. Research and involvement in other miscellaneous Human Resources projects as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field plus 4-6 years related experience required. Requires computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work in a team environment while organizing and prioritizing changing workloads as required. Experience in working in manufacturing environments required, with unions a plus. Some travel required (20%) to other campuses and business units.df-tc
