Description
We are seeking 2 Hardware Design Engineers to join a highly skilled team. We are looking for folks who are bilingual in English and Japanese because there will be some significant design work done by Japanese engineers who you will work with. Best candidates will have 5+ years of hardware design experience. Must have a BSEE. Must have RECEPTION TESTING experience or Transfer Work design skills. Candidates should have a mix of analog and digital design experience. An even split between the two would be great. "Alan Ladd " exp. is good. Do not want ASIC gurus or folks who are just heavy in FPGAs.


Best candidates will have Consumer Electronics Product hardware design experience. Any AUDIO or automotive applications skills would be terrific. Circuit grounding or power supply experience is desired. Must have significant design work - from the design of schematics through the process to product rollout. Must have multilayered printed circuit board design experience. Also, need to have microprocessor, driver and board level experience. Any familiarity with EMC layout techniques would be terrific. Must be competent at testing designs and schemas.



This position is ideal for a candidate who likes a lot of variety in a role and considers himself to be a " jack of all trades". You must be able to work and build designs quickly. There will be a lot of visibility in this position. Best candidates are fairly entrepreneurial and reliant on individual skills.
