Description
Primary responsibility is to serve as the contact person for the customers and function as the point of contact between the user of IT services and the IT organization. He/she will be responsible for logging and processing service requests. Processing service requests includes fulfilling the request directly, creating incident tickets for processing by others, and coordinating the resolution of open requests. A significant part of the supporting responsibility will be the ongoing development and maintenance of applications and procedures used by the IT Service Desk.df-tc

Experience/Skills
3+ years of experience working in computer service and support environment. The qualified individual must have outstanding customer service skills as well as comprehensive knowledge of handling customer support calls in a centralized support and dispatch center. A strong candidate will have experience in implementing and administering technical call center applications (use of asset management systems, is a plus), including ad-hoc scripting for custom queries and reporting. Must possess strong technical abilities; analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills. Experience in software includes Microsoft Office Suite (including Exchange), Windows XP Operating Systems. Experience with collaboration software MS SharePoint, online trouble reporting, and asset management systems are a plus.
