Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire OR Full Time Employment (FTE) Position

Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Help Desk Associate position is entry level for the Universal Help Desk. The Universal Help Desk has responsibility for first level network (LAN and WAN) and desktop support for HQ, the DC and our field. The Help Desk also completes daily operational jobs for our financial and reporting systems. The Associate position is responsible for store support.

Top Skills:
Answers all helpdesk calls in timely & courteous fashion with upwards of 90% of incoming calls answered within 5 minutes during all shifts.
Demonstrates an understanding of company computer systems and provides an explanation for problem conditions to our end user community.
Strive for a first call resolution" in all supported areas above 80%.
Strive for Level I call resolution above 85%.
Displays good analysis and problem solving skills, accurately analyzing a situation and utilizes creative problem solving.
Provides initial diagnosis of computer related software and hardware issues (e.g. Triversity POS and hardware, Windows, WAN, etc.) and instructs clients how to resolve computer related issues.

Qualifications:
2-year college degree or equivalent experience in a similar technical environment.
Customer Service \Retail
Microsoft applications
Weekend availability
