The Help Desk Compliance Specialist answers inbound Internal Help Desk =
calls related to potential compliance, privacy, and security breaches. =
This position is responsible for documenting all interactions related to =
these potential breaches within the Help Desk Remedy tracking system and =
ensures that procedures are followed by all other Help Desk Staff. In =
addition, this position communicates directly with Compliance and Legal =
Managers and provides compliance issue call volume reporting to the T. =
Rowe Price Oversight Committee.=0A=

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES:=0A=
=0A=
* Receives inbound calls through the help Desk Compliance telephone =
line and gathers specific details on potential compliance, privacy, =
security, and identity theft security breaches, and documents =
information in Help Desk Remedy system. Communicates potential breach =
to the Compliance Incident Response Team, which includes TRPIT, =
Compliance, Legal, and Internal Communications Managers, while =
initiating investigation of breaches involving electronic data. =
Investigation may involve T. Rowe Price vendors or other Third Party =
Financial Institutions. Communicates issue with appropriate technology =
or business process owners so that a solution can be reached. Documents =
resolution of issue in Remedy.=0A=

* Coordinates with Compliance, Legal, and specific business unit to =
determine what level of customer, client, and associate communication is =
required based on the scenario and severity of breach.=0A=
=0A=
* Provides compliance related issue call volume reporting and ticket =
analysis to TRPIT, Legal, and Compliance managers. This data is shared =
by management with the Oversight Committee.=0A=
=0A=
* Maintains documentation regarding the management of compliance Help =
Desk calls. Provides Help Desk on-call support for urgent and impacting =
compliance issues by providing guidance to the Help Desk Shift Lead =
regarding what documentation and actions are needed during non-business =
hours. =0A=
=0A=
* Works with business unit Compliance Officers on the adoption and =
implementation of compliance reporting through the Help Desk. =
Collaborates with Compliance Officers to ensure maintenance of =
compliance-related issue resolution procedure documentation. Ensures =
that all Help Desk staff understands and utilizes established procedures =
for handling compliance-related calls.=0A=

QUALIFICATIONS:=0A=
=0A=
* Bachelor's degree preferred=0A=
* In-depth knowledge of compliance/privacy regulations preferred=0A=
* Awareness of security and privacy policies and proven track record of =
guiding customers and peers in the proper security and privacy practices =
and procedures=0A=
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills=0A=
* Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization and =
with various levels of outside organizations=0A=
* Self directed and self motivated=0A=
* Ability to effectively multi-task and keep up within a fast-paced =
environment=0A=
* High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year related work experience, =
