Our client is looking for a Helpdesk candidate to work as part of the Tier 1 Help Desk support team.

Responsibilities include:
. Support desktop operating systems, hardware and software.
. Handle Help Desk calls and change requests from Corporate and Branch users.
. Add/remove users from Windows Active Directory.
. Setup, troubleshoot and repair laptop, desktop PC's and various software applications.
. Analyze requests and recommend solutions.
. Support Windows XP workstations, Windows 2000/2003 servers, and NetWare servers. Other applications supported include MSOffice, Teller, RMS, Omniform, and TokOpen and various applications need by the business.
. 80% phone support and 20% deskside support

Experience/Skills
Required experience:

. Answering calls from the branches and the departments and assisting them with their PC/LAN or software problems.
. As necessary, working with the user via remote access to correct and/or support a user on the applications.
. Document service requests in Help Desk software & follow-up on outstanding issues.
. Experience supporting Windows XP/2000, Windows 2000/2003 Server, Active Directory, MS Office.
. Assist with the setup of the new branches.
. Assist with the updating of old branches.
. Be a backup for report printing process & distribute the notices
. Create and delete users as requested in Active Directory and NDS
. Support ATM and Telephone line issues
. Help Resolve Fax/Printers & copier technical issues
. Perform hardware inventory
. Replace hardware at branches- reliable transportation required
. Other duties as assigned.


Note: This is a contract to hire position with our client.
