Our client is looking for a Manager End User Computing Services to; set technology direction for the needs of their PC and Macintosh computing infrastructure. Manage and direct desktop computing infrastructure, policies, procedures and standards. Participate in defining and designing current and future desktop technology requirements. Lead their End User Computing Services Team and provide a positive, motivating work environment.

This position is responsible for the integration of desktop operating system, hardware and application software. This key individual is also responsible for projecting desktop resource requirements and providing leadership in software and hardware capacity planning and requirements.The ideal candidate will have broad Desktop Technology and Operations knowledge and experience in data networking, technical infrastructure, desktop and server operating system and experience with layered corporate applications such as:Windows NT/2000/XP & MacOS - operating system Desktop computer hardware, printers & peripheralsMicrosoft Windows 2000/2003 server operating systemMicrosoft Active Directory, SMS, Remote DesktopWise/SMSProven success as a People Leader with experience managing a technical/analytical team or department is essential. The ability to lead through change - strategy, vision, implementation, and assessment - is vital, as is the ability to build strong relationships and to create a positive work environment. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, are required.Other requirements include: Project Management Skills, including scoping, contracting, scheduling, resource leveling, risk management, project communications, and implementation planning to completion.
