"Position Overview - The Help Desk Analyst must provide business clients with guidance and first level support by assisting in problem resolution. The Analyst acts as the key contact for on-site and remote clients for workstation problems, requests for new equipment or services and production problems and inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities - Responds to client requests for equipment, services and assists in problem resolution. Maintains contact with clients and second/third level support personnel on operational and production problems. Checks quality and distributes reports requested by clients for on-site and remote users. Assists in coordinating the resolution of applications/software systems problems impacting production. Assists desktop support personnel, as requested. Assists in resolving technical computer operations? equipment problems. Logs documents and maintains history records on all production problems. Initiates corrective action or carries out instructions to resolve system problems and/or production jobs. Adheres to Help Desk Policies and Procedures within stated guidelines for processing requests and providing problem resolution. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion. Strives to learn the job functions of the position?s immediate supervisor as well as peer level positions with which the individual interacts. Adheres to Service Level Agreements as outlined in the Help Desk Policies and Procedures. Ensures quality assurance throughout the process and when closing out tickets with clients to assure customer satisfaction."df-tc
