Job Description:

Help Desk Support Rep
Location: Perimeter

Required Skills

- Demonstrated skills in problem analysis and resolution.
- 12-18 months experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years experience with hardware and software installation support and troubleshooting in a corporate PC/LAN environment.
- 3+ year experience with Windows 2000 and XP, Symantec Ghost (or imaging application), MS-DOS, and Symantec Antivirus.
- Knowledge of and the ability to speak intelligently about TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, SSL and DNS.
- Firm understanding of the application, network, and physical layer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills

- Exchange, Internet Information Server and SQL Server a plus
- Any recognized industry certifications are a plus.
- Some college coursework highly desired - degree not required

Major Responsibilities
- Provide 'Tier 1 and 2' level support for the use base.
- Answer incoming Help Desk calls and monitor the support e-mail queue.
- Responsible for hardware, software, and printer break/fix issues.
- Responsible for 'Tier 1' network support and troubleshooting.
