Project Description: Minimum 2-3 years of technical experience required. Job- holder MUST have a working knowledge of installing, configuring and supporting software, hardware and connectivity components of a single-user NT4 or Windows 2000/XP workstation. S/he MUST have experience with anticipating, recognizing and resolving various technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems and working with a problem/call management system. S/he MUST also possess knowledge of products and services offered by the Help Desk, including Microsoft Office 97/2000, Microsoft Outlook 97/2000, IBM PCOM, remote access software, Internet Explorer, mainframe, passwords, and be able to provide appropriate support for product use. Job-holder MUST be extremely customer-service oriented and an experienced problem solver who seeks assistance when necessary. S/he MUST be a self-starter with excellent oral and effective written communication skills. S/he MUST also be results oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and an experienced decision maker. Technical or Associate?s degree or equivalent work experience required; B.S., B.A. or Microsoft Certifications beneficial.The Customer Service Desk provides 365x24x7 support to customers.
