Help Desk Analyst/Buyer Support

Seeking a motivated individual to assist the Legacy ML Operational Support Team with daily operational support of the Ariba purchasing system.

Key Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Assist Help Desk team with functionality and resolution of daily inquiries placed via phone and email by users.
Assist with day-to-day system support for Legacy Merrill Lynch users and vendors by resolving issues and/or providing the correct contact information.
Assist with system changes by performing system testing leveraging detailed test scripts and participating in the resolution of production issues.

Ability to work autonomously, across business units and in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail
Strong customer focus and customer service skills

Education and Experience

Experience with Ariba Buyer is a plus
Strong knowledge of help desk environment including being familiar with adhering to a schedule
Experience utilizing/managing ticketing applications such as Remedy or Siebel
General understanding of technology infrastructure environment
Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
