Description
Technisource is looking for some help desk analysts who can quickly troubleshoot and diagnose PC hardware and software issues over the phone and resolve or escalate when necessary, in order to minimize end user downtime, increase productivity, and provide a world class customer experience.

.*SHIFTS could be night or day; trying to establish a pipeline to use as back-fill for vacations and time off- this is not guaranteed permanent work. OK if prospective candidates have a full time job.



Supported Hardware and Software:



? Office 2003/2007, Windows XP/Vista, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Zantaz ( EAS Client ) Remedy ARS, Windows Media Player, Document Mgmt. System ( DM5 ), IBM RecordNow, Adobe Distiller 7.0, Enterprise Software Distribution (ESD), Eviews, Economic Data Storing System (EDSS), iFin (Integrated Financial System), Citrix MetaFrame XP, SITA Dialer, iPass Connect, Symantec Antivirus, Zone Labs, SSL VPN, Skype, Logitech Quickcam, WinRAR, WinZip.









Qualifications:



? Good interpersonal, relationship building, problem solving and customer service skills.

? Highly motivated and empowered IT professional with a great attitude.

? 1 - 2 years of desktop support and/or help desk experience is preferred.

? Experience with a ticketing system such as Magic, Heat, or Remedy is required.

? MOUS, A+, MCDST, and MCSE certifications preferred.

? Knowledge of remote access applications.

? Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office Suite applications including macros.

? Proven software and hardware troubleshooting ability.

? Effective communication and writing skills to deal with novice and skilled PC users.

? Ability to make quick and clear decisions in accordance with the firm s policies. Must have experience in supporting Windows Vista/Office 2007.
